Terms of Service

These terms govern access to and use of InstrumentPackage websites, software, demonstrations, generated content, and related services.

Effective date: July 17, 2026

Engineering disclaimer: InstrumentPackage and its affiliates are not responsible for any mistakes, errors, omissions, inaccuracies, or misrepresentations in generated or modified documents. All documents must be independently reviewed, verified, and signed off by a qualified Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) before use.

1. Engineering review is mandatory

InstrumentPackage is a software tool intended to assist qualified professionals. It does not provide professional engineering services, replace engineering judgement, establish a professional engineer-client relationship, or independently certify that a document is correct, complete, code-compliant, safe, constructible, or fit for a particular purpose.

Users are solely responsible for reviewing all outputs against project requirements, current drawings, site conditions, client standards, manufacturer information, laws, codes, regulations, and accepted engineering practice. A qualified P.Eng. must approve and sign off on every document before it is issued, relied upon, used for procurement, construction, commissioning, operation, maintenance, or safety-related decisions.

2. Accuracy and generated content

Software-generated or AI-assisted content may contain mistakes, omissions, outdated information, inconsistencies, or misrepresentations. InstrumentPackage does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, or suitability of any output. Users must not treat generated content as final engineering work without independent verification.

3. User responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, complete, and authorized project information.
  • Verify all calculations, selections, tags, drawings, schedules, specifications, assumptions, and references.
  • Maintain appropriate document control, revision control, cybersecurity, quality assurance, and approval processes.
  • Use the service only for lawful purposes and only where the user has the required rights and permissions.

4. Data and ownership

Users retain responsibility for and rights to the information they upload, subject to any separate written agreement. Users confirm they are authorized to provide that information. Additional privacy, security, retention, and processing terms may be described in an applicable subscription, pilot, enterprise, or data-processing agreement.
